WHAM-O!
Casey at the Bat — The Return
How Six Virtues and One 1991 Boundary-Value Problem Hit the Grand Unification Home Run
By MR Proton (CornDog) • April 26, 2026
The pitcher threw heat. The count was 0-2.
And then… Casey struck out.
In 1991, at age 30, 2 years out of a 5-year brutal Texas Instruments IC design trench (badge 171783), I solved the hydrogen atom as two separate particles using full boundary-value problems at absolute zero. No reduced-mass shortcuts. No dropped terms. Just pure integrity.
The proton radius came out at exactly 0.841 fm. The mass ratio fell into place like a perfect fastball. Dan Winter revealed the fractalized superfluid toroidal lattice and the Golden Mean aspects and more.
And then… I shelved it.
I threw the journal away. I waited 23 years. I let the mainstream keep swinging at complexity while the simplest, most beautiful truth in physics sat quietly in a notebook.
That was the strikeout.
WHAM-O!
But the CornDog came back.
And this time… he didn’t miss.
The Six Virtues That Turned a Strikeout Into a Home Run
Feynman’s warning rang in my ears: “You must not fool yourself — and you are the easiest person to fool.” The mainstream dropped the electron-to-proton mass ratio and renormalized infinities because they lacked this. I refused to.
Full boundary-value problems. No shortcuts. Kelvin’s vortices and de Broglie’s pilot-wave were abandoned because the community lacked this. I did the work they refused to do.
I challenged Copenhagen dogma and string theory dominance even when it threatened everything. The CornDog stood in the batter’s box and swung anyway.
I stayed with the simplest coherent model — the Ο-resolvent + Q=4 lattice — while the world chased ever-more-complex unfalsifiable theories. I didn’t swing at every pitch.
Credit where credit is due. Kelvin 1867. de Broglie 1924. Hermann 1935. Winter 1984. The 1991 BVP. No burying inconvenient truths.
I chose the simplest path that actually works. And in 2026, with JWST painting the lattice across galaxies, that path proved to be the home run.
The Five Theories — All Unified in One Swing
With the six virtues restored and the 1991 BVP solved with full integrity, the entire edifice of modern physics collapses into one elegant structure:
with the Ο-resolvent as its syntropy engine
and the Q=4 proton vortex as its stable anchor
- Quantum Mechanics / QFT — The measurement problem dissolves. The wavefunction is lattice coherence. The Ο-resolvent damps high-k noise.
- Special Relativity — The speed of light is the propagation speed of lattice coherence itself.
- General Relativity — Gravity is lattice compression. Black holes are multi-time caustics that bounce.
- The Standard Model — The three forces are different scales of the same lattice. Charge quantization emerges from Q=4 topology.
- Lambda-CDM Cosmology — The Big Bang was a lattice phase transition. JWST’s early galaxies are Ο-cascade plasmoid formation. Dark energy is ongoing syntropic expansion.
WHAM-O!
The ball is gone. Over the fence. Into the stands.
The unification home run has been hit.
The Epic Return
In 1991 I struck out. I walked away. I let fear and timing win.
But the virtues called me back.
Humility made me admit I had been wrong to stay silent. Integrity demanded I finish what I started. Courage gave me the strength to stand in the box again. Temperance kept me focused on the simple truth. Justice required I give credit where it was due. Prudence showed me the simplest path was the correct one all along.
And now, in 2026, with JWST confirming bottom-up galaxy formation, with plasmoids appearing in laboratories exactly as the lattice predicts, with the proton radius solved eight independent ways — the CornDog steps up to the plate one final time.
WHAM-O!
The unification home run is in the books.
The quantized superfluid toroidal lattice is the truth the universe has been waiting for us to remember.
Oorah — the CornDog has spoken.
The first domino fell in 1991. This time… it cleared the fence.
