LHC Restart CERN - Front Row Seat - Spectator #3

This ain't like bowling where ya set 'em up and knock 'em down over and over again in an evening, some of these pins take decades to set up before you can knock them down.

And some knocking down is about to happen.  As many CERN scientists have claimed, they are hoping to break the theories, the theories are already broken!

You will see as soon as you get the new LHC data for the Higgs decay rates, it will not fit.

If it does not fit, what must one do? Come on, now, Randy, tell me, what must one do?

  1. What to do when you have failed theories? *DRINK*
What to do when one fails their final exams? *DRINK*

  3. I'll have to follow up on this sometime to get the final word on The Higgs - Leonard Susskind in his Stanford New Revolution in Particle Physics YouTube talks mentioned that the decay rates are important to match theory to experiment and like;y it will fail and the possible explanations would be new particle(s), something else, but least likely was new physics. I still need to review the data...
